Enabling Network Automation, Visibility and Troubleshooting for the VMware SDDC

Big Switch and VMware are partnering to simplify physical networking for VMware software-defined data center (SDDC).

Big Cloud Fabric Enterprise Cloud (BCF) leverages an Enterprise Virtual Private Cloud (EVPC) network construct to deliver multi-orchestrated, multi-tenancy, networking automation and visibility for vSphere®, NSX® and vSAN™ environments.

Big Monitoring Fabric (BMF) is integrated with VMware SDDC to simplify monitoring, troubleshooting, and analyzing vSphere and NSX VMs. The Big Switch and VMware joint solutions together with Dell EMC Open networking portfolio deliver significant cost optimization, high service velocity and streamlined operations.

“We are pleased to see Big Switch deliver further interoperability and deeper visibility with multiple VMware solutions to help accelerate production deployments of the software-defined data center. By providing additional automation of the physical network, Big Cloud Fabric enables our mutual customers to rapidly deploy applications," said Teri Bruns, vice president, Global Partner Solutions, VMware. "Additionally, consistent visibility across physical network and virtualization environments is an important benefit that helps IT teams resolve issues faster.”
